CheapData operates a pay-as-you-go wallet model. This policy explains when wallet top-ups are refundable and how cancellations work.
Wallet balance you have not yet spent is refundable for 30 days from the date of top-up. Email support@cheapdata.io from the account email and we will return the unspent amount to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
After 30 days, top-ups become non-refundable but remain in your wallet. Wallet balance never expires.
Unlocked records are considered delivered digital goods and are non-refundable. Once you unlock a record, you have permanent access to it — you can re-view, re-export, and re-download it at no additional charge.
If a record turns out to have inaccurate or undeliverable contact information (bounced email, disconnected phone, wrong title), email us a list of affected sha256 record IDs at support@cheapdata.io. We will credit your wallet back at the rate you paid, no questions asked, for the first 100 claims per account. After that we review case-by-case.
Tier upgrades (Starter → Growth → Scale) are permanent and not refundable. Once you reach a tier through cumulative top-ups, your per-record rate stays at that tier indefinitely.
You may close your account at any time by emailing support@cheapdata.io. If you close within 30 days of your most recent top-up, the unspent portion is refundable per Section 1. Records you have already unlocked remain accessible until account closure.
We ask that you contact us before filing a chargeback with your card issuer — most disputes are resolved within 24 hours by email. Unjustified chargebacks (for delivered, downloaded records) may result in account suspension and reporting to credit-card networks for future risk-scoring.
